It goes without saying that if you want to write well, you have to study those who excelled before you. These are the kinds of copywriters who not only acheived great fame but also shared many of their secrets to success with their seo copywriting and advertising books.
You know who I’m talking about - David Oglivy, Robert W. Bly, Herschell Gordon Lewis are just a handful. (If these names aren’t familiar to you, it’s time to do some reading).
Sometimes it only takes a reminder from these legends to get your seo copywriting and marketing on track, such as,
“If it doesn’t sell, it isn’t creative.” - David Ogilvy
“The professional writer must establish a daily schedule and stick to it.” - William Zissner
“You can’t bore somebody into buying something.” - David Ogilvy
“If you really want to get start making big money from your writing, don’t haggle over nickels and dimes. Don’t try to get a penny a word market to pay two cents a word, and then feel pleased that you doubled your fee. It’s still pennies.” - Robert Bly
“There is no greater human urge than the desire to rewrite someone else’s copy.” - H.G. Wells
