FAQ

Thank you for your interest in NetWriter’s copywriting services!

You may be looking at our website to determine what a copywriter actually does. Many people do, especially those who have never hired a copywriter before.

It is more likely though that you are looking for someone to write informative copy that will drive customers to choose your business.

No matter why or how you found me, you surely want to know more about what I do, and how I do it, before you hire me.

Therefore, I have compiled a list of our most frequently asked questions here. If you cannot find what you are looking for, please contact us.

What Are Your Qualifications?

I have written copy for thousands of small businesses and am the ghostwriter of numerous eBooks such as How to Attract “That Guy”, Naming Your Baby, eBook Writing for Profit, The Cat Care Compendium and The Slim Pregnancy, among dozens of others.

I also teach online writing courses and have provided copywriting and business advice to not-for-profits, associations, government-sponsored youth entrepreneurship programs and business organizations.

More recently, I’ve served as the Dating Expert with The New York Times / Ask / About.com for 9 years, and consult for TV, movies and film as well as numerous online properties.

Do You Have Experience in My Field?

If you sell products or services online, there’s a good chance that I’ve already written something similar. Take a peek at my Copywriting Samples or contact us and I can send you more pertinent samples right up your alley.

Just some of the niches we’ve already worked in include: dating, relationships, pet care, housesitting, travel, wicca, pagan education, tea, counseling theory, business management, entrepreneurship, baby names, tow hitches, ghostwriting, freelance writing, psychology, ecommerce, business plans, nonprofits, fundraising, lifestyle, mental health, CBD oil, yoga, yoga clothing, meditation, ESL, and credit cards.

What Type of Work Do You Typically Take On?

I write all sorts of copy. Thirty percent of my business focuses on web sales copy (such as eBook sales letters, website copy or eZines), with another thirty percent focusing on larger writing projects (such as literature reviews, booklets and eBooks).

The rest is filled out with a wide variety of writing projects including feature articles, press releases, business plans, manuals, company newsletters, brochures and festival or grant applications.

I specialize in taking complex or challenging subjects and boiling them down to the basics, explaining what it really means to your reader, and ensuring your message gets in the hands of the right people, every time.

In fact, I am so effective at what I do that one of my letters earned more than $14,000 in sales over a two week period
(see that letter here – please note this file opens to a PDF).

I cannot guarantee the number of responses a sales letter, advertisement or marketing project will receive. But I do guarantee your complete satisfaction with every word I write for you.

How Much Do You Charge?

For any copywriting project – be it a sales letter, eBook, literature review, web page or article – please contact us for a free, no obligation quote on your writing assignment.

Occasionally, I take on projects through a bartering website. For those who cannot afford a specialized copywriter’s services, I suggest joining Simbi. Use my link and you’ll get an extra 25 Simbi ‘dollars’ to get started.

How Long Will My Project Take?

In an ideal situation, I’d prefer two or three weeks to work with your copy. This gives me enough time to research, prepare, outline, review, write and edit your work.

I realize however that a few projects are required faster than normal under unusual circumstances. Therefore, if a project is a rush, contact usand let me know in your email. If I are able to take on the job, I guarantee it’s completion on, or even before, it’s required timeline.

What If We Require Revisions or Changes?

Merely let me know as soon as you can what you’d like done, and I’ll do it. Rewrites are done at NO CHARGE, and are included in the agreed-upon project fee. Provide me with the necessary changes within thirty days of the assignment completion, and provided they are not based on a change after the copy was submitted, I’ll do them gladly.

The gross majority of my clients are thrilled with the final copy and never ask for any revisions. But if you aren’t completely satisfied with the copy you receive, I will revise it according to your needs at our own expense.

How Can I Order from You?

Contact us to get the ball rolling. I will email you within 48 hours to make arrangements, such as timelines, pricing and any documentation required to get the project done. Please note that I require a 50% payment up front before beginning any project, with the remainder due immediately upon completion.

What Types of Payment Do You Accept?

At the moment, NetWriter accepts PayPal, Stripe, or email money tranfers, or we can invoice you using Wave. If you require a different payment method, contact us.
